Lacrosse

Well once again it is spring which means only one thing. It means that Football and Soccer seasons are over. That also means that it is in the middle of Lacrosse season so here is a preview of the 2009 MLL (Major League Lacrosse).

Major League Lacrosse is a Professional Lacrosse league. Most people do not know about the MLL. Most people hear about the NCAA Lacrosse League but very  few know about the MLL. People who do know what it is would very much
realize how much more skill the players have. Players take Lacrosse to a whole different level of playing. The ball is almost always in the air,  players
are always moving ,it is almost as good as watching football - maybe better.

Blast Win

The Baltimore Blast won the Championship once again. They beat Rockford Rampage 13-10. Also, yet again, Sagu was named NISL goalkeeper of the year which means a lot to the Blast. Winning this championship, also means they are now the first team in the new NISL league to win the Championship.

Ravens Wheeling and Dealing

The Baltimore Ravens are in full trading and signing season. They are especially looking at some new offensive tackles. Also wideout Demetrius Willams and tight end Quinn Sypniewski have renewed their contract to one more year with the Ravens as free agents. So, for the most part, they are looking in good shape especially now that Kyle Boller is out of the way and with the Rams. Now Joe Flacco and Troy Smith have a little more competition. Troy Smith is also healthy now and is trying to prove he can start this season. Another good thing for the Ravens is that Samari Roll is back after three years of recovery. They are also looking to draft a good running back. So over all the Baltimore Ravens are looking in tip top shape and if everything goes right they will be able to go all the way this year.

MLS Season Kick Off

The MLS(Major League Soccer) is officially underway. All the teams have played at least one game this season. This year's soccer season looks like it's going to be a good season. So far it looks like all the teams are equally matched. Chicago is in the lead with 2 wins and 1 tie with a total of 7 pts.  New England is in second and   they are         2-0-1 also with a total of 7 pts. DC United is trailing behind in third going 1-0-2. For the other four teams they have at least one win. Surprisingly, this year there's a lot of ties. So this year looks like a hope-filled year for the MLS.
